Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have traveled to some really nice places like Paris, New York, Rome and the Galapagos Islands, but most of them with my parents.
Now I'm planning to go on trips by myself and meet lots of people along the way. I want to get a more deep understanding about the culture of the places I visit and I think the best way to do it is to meet local people and traveling through couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do it.

I currently live with my parents and they feel a bit uncomfortable about receiving couchsurfers, but in the future when I move out, I'll be pleased to receive people at my house, sharing my culture, helping them around the city and giving tips/advice about the country. This way I can help travelers just like I hope people will help me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic musical taste that goes from classical music (I play classic piano :D) to rap, passing through jazz, samba, brazilian music, techno, blues and classic rock. My favourite bands are Pink Floyd and The Beatles.

I am really into literature, brazilian and foreigner. I've recently read "Tender is the night", by Scott Fitzgerald and absolutely loved it!
I would love to exchange book suggestions. I'll take anything, romance, poetry, whatever, just bring it on!
