About Me

Liberal arts student from northern Germany. Open, friendly, widely-interested and spontaneous. I am always looking for new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love getting to know new places and their locals in person. I appreciate long conversations with my hosts and their friends or family their country, or whatever issue they prefer. Because of this I prefer and value the couchsurfing experience!

Interests

Culture: The Arts and especially music are my passion. I love to hear music and visit concerts and festivals. Also I am interested in contemporary society and politics. I am interested in getting to know other cultures and traveling and so I love to share experiences with my hosts and get new ones during my hosting with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

In my youth I was an Indie-Music geek. I am still appreciating it, but now I am much more open to get to know new music than beforr. I have a huge passion for alternative (Hip Hop, Techno) and folkloric (Cumbia, Canto Popular) Latin American Music due to my time I spent in Columbia and Chile because I love the Spanish language. Going on festivals is something that I appreciate a lot. In recent years I prefer small and affectionately arranged Electronic Music Festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing a volunteer service in Columbia and learning Spanish. Beeing capable doing my semestre abroad in Santiago de Chile because of my experiences and language skills from Columbia :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning things about life, history and culture of countries by actually talking about them- (maybe during a glas of wine and a home made meal?) I always appreciate to share my (vegetarian) cooking skills, that I learned so far. I appreciate sharing my interest in music and can listen to it for hours. What I love is getting to know new artists from friends and hosts. :)
