Although I have been a member of CS since 2012, it is only now that i'm plucking the courage to travel in this exciting way. Usually i stay in hostels or with friends, when I travel.

I am currently based in Yorkshire, UK pursuing a PhD. And travel to Malta for short breaks. I'm ea like to think of myself as an easy going , young at heart kinda chap with a song in my heart :)

In my mid twenties, I moved to London, where I worked as a professional musician and songwriter. My keen interest in the arts soon gave me the opportunity to work in graphic design, architecture and interactive multimedia and computer games production/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet people , learn and experience other cultures, thoughts, philosophies, attitudes. beliefs... I'm also a singer-songwriter, and therefore I travel with a guitar in hand and am all for a jamming session, open mics or gigs.

Interests

My main interest at the moment is making music, jamming with other musicians of any genre and to start writing songs again.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to any type of music at least once. I listen to blues, folk, rock, jazz, funk, clasical, opera. I love early Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Zeppelin, Zappa, Pink Floyd, Al Di Meola ...

I am not a movie buff, so you'd have to guide me on this one! :) However, i love light-hearted comedies.

At the moment it is all about academic reading! :/
