Hello, my name is Antonio. I’m a painting teacher at an art school near Pisa, and I’m deeply passionate about art in all its forms. I also love music — I play the guitar and I’ve recently started taking piano lessons. I’m not an expert yet, but playing makes me feel really good. Music brings me joy, which is why I even built a small recording studio at home — a project I’m very proud of, especially because I built it myself, including the desk!

I’m a simple and calm person who values the little things. I love nature and the sea — surfing is another great passion of mine. Although good waves in Italy are rare, I try to surf whenever possible. Some of my best surf trips have been to Hawaii, Portugal, and San Diego, and I hope to return there soon.

I feel lucky: I have a job I love, I live by the sea, and I’m surrounded by caring people. I truly appreciate kindness, empathy, and respect — qualities I always look for in the people around me.

Oh, and one more thing… I love dancing Cuban salsa! The music is full of energy and joy, and the people who dance it are always smiling. I’m still learning (even if in my profile photo I might look like a pro 😄), but dancing makes me really happy.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I signed up for couchsurfing for two reasons :
the first is because I like to travel and I like to immerse myself in other cultures trying not to experience the holiday only as a tourist but trying to understand how one truly lives in that place staying as a guest with a local person.
and the other reason is because many times (before discovering this site) I would have liked to stay more time on vacation but hotels are always very expensive and having a chance like this makes things change and everything becomes more beautiful

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I built my Home studio to produce music all with my hands using old wood and closet scraps without knowing how to work wood =) I don't know how I built my desk hahaha ahha for me this is the most incredible and difficult thing which I did because I didn't think I will be able to do this because it was my first time.

I can offer a sofa, or a double camping bed (they are those beds that inflate with compressed air) and they are very comfortable and resistant, and if they need to rest even better I can offer my bed and I can sleep in the camping bed .I can offer breakfast and eat with me during lunch or dinner. I love making pizza and bread. if I'm not at work I can take you to visit the city and the sea by car or if it's not raining by motorbike, and if there are waves in the sea I can also offer you a surfboard to surf the waves of the sea =)
