I'm a computer programmer by profession, and I have many other interests that I enjoy in my spare time. I'm into meditation, energy healing, hand drumming, ecstatic dance, cooking, hiking, reading, and listening to music. I also have an interest in spiritual communities, sustainable living, and organic farming. I have a great sense of humor, and I like to have fun.

I immigrated to the United States in the early 2000's, and I have lived in New York ever since. I recently came back from a week long trip to Arizona, during which I caught travel bug and the desire to find ways to make a career out of the things that are my interests.

In early July, I'm going on an open ended cross country road trip with the intention of learning more about myself, seeing places, facing my fears, meeting lots of people, making friends, exchanging skills and information, and growing as a person. I'm looking to get any and all experience I can in my areas of interest, and I'm looking to eventually find a new place to live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have a lot of different tracks in my collection. They are from different genres. Which ones I listen to depends on my mood at the moment. The only things I don't listen to are death metal and hard rock. I'm always looking to add more music to my playlist, so let me know what your favorites are.

Books: I generally read books on spirituality and personal development. Some of the books that I like are The Count of Monte Cristo, Divergent, Graceling, The Four Agreements, and The Celestine Prophecy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With only one week of preparation, I went for a week long trip to Arizona. I had tremendous anxiety associated with the trip, but I went and it was the best trip of my life. I had good company, too. I can tell you more in person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a vegetarian, and I can cook vegetarian meals for you. I do Reiki energy healing, and I can do it for you or your pet. I do hand drumming, so if you have a djembe, I can play it for you. It is also possible that I will be carrying one with me during my trip, and in that case you don't have to have one in order for me to play! I speak fluent English and Russian, and I can teach you some Russian if you'd like.

I would love to learn anything and everything about any topics whatsoever, so feel free to share your knowledge, experience, and wisdom with me. If there is anything you need help with, I would be more than happy to help you with it. If I don't know how to do it, teach me and I'll help you. I would also be up to doing stuff together, as long as it's legal and reasonable!
