ABOUT ME

OK . . . here goes! My life in a few paragraphs!

I was born and brought up in Central London where I lived and went to school.

I went to University at Warwick (it's in the midlands - kinda near Birmingham) to study Politics and Economics. I was lucky enough to meet some of my best friends there! After three years at Uni, I went traveling for a year, first up the East Coast of Australia, and then around Tanzania. Both were crazy in totally different ways. My only regret was that I didn't spend any time in a Spanish speaking country to really improve my Spanish!

After my year out, I returned to London to take up a job at a bank, and it's been just over a year now and life it trotting along quite nicely! Though the winters are a killer! - I don't really do cold!

PHILOSOPHY

Jeez this is a bit deep! I've never really thought about this before, but if I had to sum up, I guess I'd say, take life as it comes, enjoy it as much as you can, and don't get too stressed out, because there ain't no point.

At the same time, when you're able to, give people a break, or a hand, because not everyone gets treated right in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met many people in the couchsurfing community through my friends that introduced me, and thus far, they've all been fun friendly people!

It's the best way to escape the tourist routes and see what a country/city is truly like.

Interests

Nights out - live music, pubs, bars, meeting new people, seeing old friends, football, chilling out, taking in the sun (though it's rarely available in London), beer gardens, BBQs, Spanish, beaches and goooood food.

Having the most fun humanly possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Whilst I do like the classics like Goodfellas, Shawshank Redemption, Some like it hot (Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe - what more could you want!), I also love films that either make you laugh, or simply entertain like Blood Diamond, Superbad, and Animal House.

Recently saw Toy Story 3 in 3D - it was awesome, oh! and I forgot - I'm a big fan of Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy! Clint Eastwood is just too damn awesome!

Music - all sorts, too varied to list!

I saw four lions chase and hunt down a giraffe before eating it . . . not on TV !
