An educator who likes to explore the world near and far. Living the life doing sports, travelling, enjoying a good read and music, getting lost and found again, wondering about things and for the balance - teaching kids how to survive in this world. I enjoy running around in a big city as much as relaxing in the middle of nowhere (or relaxing in a big city and running around in the middle of nowhere).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Good things happen to those who give and share. I've had great experiences and met lots of cool people earlier hosting and staying with generous hosts. The nicest thing about Couchsurfing in my opinion is the possibility to experience a city "as a local" and as a host I'm more than happy to show you the best of Oulu. As a guest I'm happy to take part in your everyday activities but don't mind going around independently if it suits you better.

Interests

I love going to new places and exploring things new to me. If I can do that on a bike, even better. I enjoy meeting people from whom I can learn something new. I'm always ready to have a good beer and sit down for a while.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find grown up boys' books inspiring. My favorites are Jack Kerouac and Hunter S. Thompson. The Dharma Bums was so good that my friends and I decided that we too have to start conquering mountains.

Music is great. I like listening to all sorts of tunes from late 60's psychedelic and folk rock to British indie to latest electronic music. I'm happy to learn more about your favorites and latest findings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014 I had a role in a Hong Kong TV2 (or something) food documentary at Curry36 in Berlin.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories about where I've been and where I'm going to. I like cooking and would enjoy sharing some culinary experiences with the host. I can also share my playlist if you feel like it.
