I am an easy going fella originally from deep rural Finland, a kind of place that really makes you want to travel. So naturally I grew up infinitely curious about the world and with a hanker to see all about it: I am now at 0,023 percent, turns out there is lots of it. Might have to take a monday or few off to get it done.

I'm always open to new experiences and ideas and try to approach the world with benign obsession, learning about peoples, places and cultures, which in turns makes me happy and quick to connect with people from all sort of backgrounds. I'm looking forward to meeting you :)

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I've been moving from country to country as a living as student in five and visited as a traveler in so many more. And what I've found out that it is the people I've met and experiences shared that truly stick in your memory. Couchsurfing (and just trying to connect with people as you travel) is an amazing way to make the places you visit to come alive and real.

I'm interested in traveling, history, smart-ass stand-up comedy, politics, literature, learning new languages and meeting new people. Also been active in student theatre productions.

Music: alternative, indie, downtempo... and much much more. The National, Alt-J, Mark Lanegan, Johnny Flynn, Radiohead, Beck, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beta Band, The Stone Roses, CMX, Massive Attack and The Smiths to list a few.

Literature: o so much, old and new. I really like Oscar Wilde for one.

Movies: I'm bit of a movie freak really. Richard Linklater movies for one are great. Or Jim Jarmusch.

I can teach you Finnish (which is basically active silence once you master it), mastery of confident improvised cooking that make your friends think you know what you are doing and of course explain you anything you never wanted to know about international politics and law.
