About Me

I'm a freelance programmer and musician that loves food, photography and traveling. I'm addicted to both movies and books and I love leaning new things about culture, music, food or anything curious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I would love to get to know new cultures and visit new places with the help of local people that know what it's truly unique about their home/current residence.

Interests

I love to cook and get to know new flavors and recipes. I'm always listening and playing music, specially movie/game soundtracks...and when i'm not doing that then I read all kinds of novels and informative books. I also love photography, specially nature photography and capturing images that feel genuine and alive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Its impossible to decide upon a favorite song or band but I love Michael Giacchino (he made the soundtrack for UP! and the new Star Trek movies), Joe Hisaishi (he made Chihiro and Howl's Moving Castle and everything Studio Ghibli), Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Garbage, and...well lots a lots of things.

My favorite books are way to many but I can start with some: Lord of the Rings, Cloud Atlas, George Orwell's 1984, all GoT books and maybe it would be easier to check my goodreads profile (https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/19739239-anuhi-rivera).

Movies! That's also a hard one, I love The Matrix, Cloud Atlas, Spirited Away (Chihiro), Howl's Moving Castle, Star Wars (the old ones preferably), Star Trek (all the new ones)...and so forth =D.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've made mole poblano(a mexican staple) from scratch very very far away from home...in a scandinavian town that definitely could not provide the rightful ingredients!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Denmark, Mexico
