About Me

I love to travel, read, meet new people, learn about different cultures, talk about science, history and politics.

Finally, after a 3 year break from traveling (for obvious reasons), back to explore the world and meet fellow world citizens. Happy to host you at my place whenever I am in Tokyo. So, please shoot a message.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I like learning about different cultures and their subtle nuances, Couchsurfing will provide an exemplary opportunity to learn it directly from the inhabitants of my travel destinations.
Moreover, for many years now, I have believed in 'giving the benefit of doubt', that is, always start a relationship, with whomsoever, by assuming no ill-intentions from the other side. And couchsurfing seems like the best platform to take this thought forward.

Interests

Recently also started learning about Deep learning, neural networks, and stuff. Though I'd say I hardly know anything about them but from what I have learnt so far, it definitely seems like something with huge potential. Therefore, would love an opportunity to discuss it with the experts and fellow enthusiasts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does traveling 400kms on top of a bus or sleeping at the door of a moving train count?
Hiked Mt. Huashan overnight to see the rising sun and ended up with cramps lasting for few days, totally worth it!

Teach, Learn, Share

The languages I know, a little bit of Indian cooking, the stuff I study, the cultures I have experienced and perhaps my worldviews (a bit on the idealistic side).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences, ideas and impressions of the world. On top of that, I will be happy to lend a hand around with anything, if you need me to.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
