A 29 years old man out on a Solo 'Hiraeth Exped' and improvising to create the life, i always wanted. Hello, my name is Anupam & from New Delhi, India.

My first spontaneous trip was back in 2009 which was my fresh year of the college and turned out to be the reason for my first ever detention. But it was real fun though as I hitchhiked from Gwalior to Shimla, India. Also, with time I did improvise and learned ways to manage my itineraries.

I am always curious to know & explore more which is why, I guess I tuned my career into 5 different industries in last 8 years of my career. But the only thing which has been constant during all these years is traveling ☺

There are 3 things which i can get along with potential enthusiasm 😅1) Riding Motorcycles

2) Cooking - Mostly trying new recipes, no one has really felt ill after consuming my food, so i guess i can say I am a fine cook.

✡️ But honestly, I am not sure if I am an animal lover as :-

- Can confidently only pet dogs & cows.

- I love Roast lamb & still find goats cute.

3) Dogs - Breeds doesn't matter & rescue & adoption is the key.

I never wondered if I would ever decide to hitchhike during my entire tour. Every trip so far has been a spontaneous one for me with least planning and maximum exposure.

Always up for talks. Moreover, there is no age bar, i am sure i have something for everyone. 😁 I am going to be on the road for next 24 months and traveling with my tent & sleeping gear too. I will be accepting guests/travelers to join me during this expedition. I believe there is enough which we can exchange with each other, i can get to explore your culture, rituals, cuisines & language and offer you the best of my life in return.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Always keen to meet new people and exchange thoughts.
Also, it is going to be alot more helpful for my new project for which all I need are new people around me. It is the time to get to travel full time to the places where we would have never imagined to be.

I can tell you all about the Indian culture, ritual, cuisines, travel tips which will be good your future travel plans to India. The concept of "jugaad system / frugal inventions" which will help you get through almost everything here.

I can tell you about the travel myths which generally people do not talk or know about.

I can teach you English and Hindi. Little bit if Spanish, I am learning one. My regional language (from uttarakhand) is Garhwali, which isn't really a tough one to learn but people in the state are comfortable in national languages while talking to travelers.
