ABOUT ME

I am a French language assistant. I have studied History and English and I just want to discover the world around me.

I would love to go to any places that exist, but this does not seem reasonnable nor possible.
Anyway, I deeply think that we are meant to move, to travel, to share and to enjoy.

I really think that a smile can change a lot of things.
Well, I love living on Earth, even if sometimes I am on the Moon.

I love laughing, I love EATING, I love cooking, I love sleeping, I love travelling, I love....... so many things in fact.
But I know that I love giving (and receiving, of course!). Sharing is inherent to a human life, even if some persons forget it sometimes.

I and up to try crazy things or even simple things we do not take the time to do!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never hosted anyone because I thought I would not be a good host and I was working. Even if I had the place to, hosting people is not only finding them a place to sleep. It is about sharing and giving. I know this because I have been a surfers many times, in England and in India, and it was a fabulous experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is amazing. It is definitely a new way to meet people and to discover how life is in the country you visit. They show you what is really interesting,funny.
It is a really human way to travel, no need of cold hotels and annoying room neighbours.

I love educating myself, because I think that in some places, I have a general knowledge lack. Of course, as everyboby, I loke reading and watching movies, but I am not what we could call a literary person nor a cinema critic.

My favorite books for now would be 1984 written by G. Orwell and a book written by K. Hosseini, A thousand splendid suns.

If I am on a desert island and someone tells me he can pick up some of my movies, I would love him to bring me La Haine, The kite Runer (I loved the book, from the same author than A thousand splendi suns), Slumdog millionaire (I enjoyed reading the book, quite different from the movie), Pocahontas (I am not ashamed of that ), Billy Eliott, Into the wild, The city of God. (Well, I have not that many movies on my sheds.....)

I listen to Reggae, Hip hop, Soul and Jazz. Of course, I also turn the radio on and listen to big tunes .

Falling in love with an amazing person.

In Sri Lanka, I saw huge and old turtles swimming in the waves. Amazing.

Travelling in India.

I can teach how to knit (no, I am not a Grand Ma'!), how to sew, how to cook Asian (actually thai and vietnamese), Arabic and of course French food.
I speak fluently and propely French ( well, no merit, I am French), quite ordinary English and a little bit Spanish and Arabic.
I would love to know how to draw, play the Ukulele and make nice plaits, how to be funny in any circomstances, how not get angry for stupid things.
