Hi! Thank you for visiting my profile page. I'm Ao, traveling all over the world with my best friend, Ryo.

We're currently in the University of Tokyo, Japan, and are freshmen, learning economics, statistics, mathematics, and languages such as English, Spanish, and French. So, we are really interested in global communication. We've been friends for 7 years since we entered the junior high school, and we worked at the student council together - btw, I was the student president - and traveled so many times.

Ao: He is one of my most respected friends. He is sociable and kind, so you can easily get to know someone. He is also a nice guy. I have never heard him speak ill of anyone. I consider it one of the happiest things in my life to have met him.

Ryo: He is a friendly, open-minded, and respectful friend! He always thinks things positively, so I feel comfortable and encouraged when talking to him. In addition, he is such a humorous and funny person that he won the first prize at the comedy contest in our high school!!! You won't regret talking to him!!(Ao)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I LOVE traveling, especially, hitchhiking to talk with someone interesting and unique. The morning when I gave the first thumbs up, honestly, I was a little bit nervous, but when I rode on a truck - for my first hitchhiking- Mr. Sato talked to me so friendly and told me about his family, adventurous experiences, and his own philosophy of living, which enlightened me so much! Eventually he allowed me to stay at his house, and we ate dinner together, slept together, and it turned out to be the BEST trip ever!! Since then, I have been hitchhiking over more times in Japan, and am currently interested in talking with people in other countries. I wanna meet you and share a wonderful experience!!
