ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old British guy who is about to embark on a 3 month trip around South America. I have just finished a year working on an IT help desk but I hope to move into sales or customer service after travelling. I am a very social person and I love meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about people and experiences as opposed to possessions and money. One should look to enjoy life and make themselves happy. Life is too short.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am unable to host at the moment as I'm about to go travelling. I am going to be travelling through Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil September - December 2014. During this time I will be interested in surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed before but I've heard plenty about it and am excited at the prospect. My friend Ricky Sykes has told me all about his positive experiences using the site.

Interests

I am absolutely mad about sport with football and rugby being my favourites. Travelling is another of my true passions. In my gap year before university I spent four and a half months travelling through Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and America. In my summer holidays during university I also visited a lot eastern Europe and India.

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favourite film is layer cake which I think is a brilliantly constructed film. If you haven't seen it, please watch it.
I am always a sucker for a good sporting autobiography. Andre Agassi's, in particular, was a very good read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did both a bungee jump and skydive when in Queens town, New Zealand.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some limited IT support skills after having worked on a IT help desk for a year. I am also a keen and reasonably well accomplished sportsman after having played both football and rugby to a good standard.
