PHILOSOPHY

Mankind is the most powerful being we know about in the universe and with such great powers comes great responsibility, to take care of each other, try to amuse, to inspire, to take care of nature instead of destroying it.

Or as Adlai Ewing Stevenson put it then talking about Spaceship Earth:
"We travel together, passengers on a little space ship, dependent on its vulnerable reserves of air and soil; all committed for our safety to its security and peace; preserved from annihilation only by the care, the work, and, I will say, the love we give our fragile craft."

If something is worth doing then it's worth doing it properly!

We host, and travell.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a lot of political friends and strangers sleeping at our place to example very nice cineaste from Iceland. Also some experience as short time exenge student in italy living in a host family for a week. We had a very good experience hosting a guy and girl from Germany in July. An surfed Thomas' (the German guy)couch in Berlin trhree weeks later which was great!

Music, Movies, and Books

Chuck Palahniuk books are really great, so are also Haruki Murakami and Nail Gaiman. Nikolaj really likes Sci-fi writers like William Gibson, Arthur C Clarke and Isaac Asimov. We love electronic/synth music like The Knife, Slagsmålsklubben, Depeche Mode, The Sounds, Rammstein and so on. Great filmmakers are the Coen brothers, Tarantino, Stanly Kubric and Lucas Moodyson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two wonderful inter-rail trips 2007&2008 both starting in berlin, visting cities like prague, budapest, sofia (which was the only one we did't like the dont have any resturants in the entire city!)and Istanbul. We got engaged on the Grecian island of Lesbos which were very romantic, on our way to Turkey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Nikolaj knows a lot about painting, skulpturing, and all kinds of art and crafts. We both like to cook. AnnaMaria is really god at Poi (just google it if you dont know what it is :-) and can joggle also.
