About Me

Hi i am Apisit and i work in Phang Nga Technical college as an English Teacher. I grew up in Krabi but have been moving around Thailand for study and work. I studied in Bangkok and now i am settled in the south of Thailand. I am an outgoing person. I love outdoor activities such as hiking , trekking and I am a nature adventurer. there is something about mother earth and so much she offers. I have met people from all over the world and its so much fun to discuss and share experience

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i was introduced to couch surfing by some of my friends who stayed with me at my place. I have a Thai wooden hut in the middle of beautiful palm and rubber plantation. I have a small farm and with goose , chicken and fish pond. I love basic living concept that promotes sustainability and organic life style. Living closely with nature is very satisfying. There are a lot of activities travelers can experience such as sightseeing on a wooden boat through the mangrove forest and even get involved in planting mangrove saplings, go fishing in the canals and collecting the clamps and i think travelers love it too

What I Can Share with Hosts

I welcome people and my hut is pretty chilled so you all can feel free to relax and your stuff around but there are few strict conditions to be considered as its a Muslim place
Surfers please note that drinking is strictly prohibited.
You can smoke but please be careful cigarette buds and disposal.
I have cooking place but in case you don't want to cook you have to go by nearby village to buy food.
If you would love to join and get closer to the local people I would recommend OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES called "Cooking Like a Local" It is the coolest optional Thai cooking class activities . This hands-on Thai cooking experiences advised by local people. Imagine local chef revealing the secret and techniques of their traditional recipes directly to you, grabbing opening and cracking coconut, picking up your own fresh ingredients in an organic farm to cook and taste your favorite meal prepared by yourself. Various kind of Thai popular dishes are available both main dish and dessert such as cooking sticky rice in a bamboo/green curry with chicken/fried with basil leave/Som Tam (Thai papaya salad)/Tom Yam Kung(Thai spicy soup) /chicken cooked in a coconut milk and Thai herbs/ banana coconut milk/ banana sticky rice and more.
