ABOUT ME

I am genuinely curious, and I try to learn about and from people, places and ideas every day.Best thing about life and people is, they let me define who I am, each living second. It is exquisitely exciting!For now, I have learned that I love the mountains and solar cells. Since 2007, I have been and will continue working on inventing an effective and cheap device to harvest solar energy.

PHILOSOPHY

Putting your mind to something, in earnest, can move mountains. It can do anything. So go and create your own life!I try to not take things and people for granted, as Einstein is rumored to have said: "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." At the moment, however, I am still in the non-miracle camp.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted while I was at Cambridge, but now I mostly travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple of memorable ones:
- finding a host on <24hour notice in cold, cold Edinurgh during Hogmanay. We then proceeded to find mutual acquaintances with some Australians over scotch.
- hosting a person so different from me, it was an exercise in humility. We have actually kept in touch since then, and it has been more than a year over three continents.

Interests

Mountains, hiking, orienteering, light and dark, solar cells, physics, clean energy, guitar, cooking, .

Of these, it is easiest for me to share the cooking.
