About Me

Currently studying I really like meeting new people and sharing experiences. I am quite found of traveling, discovering new things and learning. I don't really plan anything much ahead so improvisation is a big part of my lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet new people when traveling around and not just only go by the usual touristic places so it seemed like a perfect way to combine the two.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I've been an electronic and old rock enthusiast for some time now but I also enjoy listening to many other music style - who doesn't like a little Vivaldi / Mozart / World Music from time to time ? I've been to many concerts and to some festivals this year, I think it's a good way to experience the music I listen differently than when I'm just alone chilling in my couch. Plus, I really enjoy the spirit once the gig has started it's always nice to share your passion with other people, wether you came with them or not. I'm always looking for new musical events to attend to, even if I don't know the music or the artist it can always lead to a good evening !

LITERATURE
I don't have favorite writers in particular, I mainly go with my mood when reading and the same goes for my favorite of the day / month / whatever ! If I had to pick some writers however I'd name Roland Barthes and Chateaubriand. They have a very different style but both can take you on an adventure of their own in their universe.

Speaking of adventures, I recently decided to open Tolkien's books and after the hobbit and The Children of Húrin, I'm currently reading Lord of the Rings.

MOVIES
Unfortunately my movie culture is far more poorer than I would like to admit. I'm trying to get a hold on all the good "classic" but it's a long process. I really liked The Seventh Seal (longer movies) and Guillaume Brac's short movies (as A world without women)
