ABOUT ME

As a former Erasmus student, I've experienced what it is to be around several nationalities and must say I miss it very much!! So of course it's hard to describe oneself in a few words, but let's say my star sign is a fair indicator:). For those who have no clue,(shame on you!)sagittarius are said to be:
Optimistic and freedom-loving
Jovial and good-humored
Honest and straightforward (maybe too frank, even tactless sometimes according to my friends... but actually quite shy when I don't know someone:)
Intellectual and philosophical

I think it would be fair to say I simply love travelling and especially meeting people abroad. I've been pretty much everywhere in Europe, staying in youth hostels or at Erasmus friends' places most of the time. I've just found out recently about couchsurfing and would really like to get involved. I haven't been travelling that much lately because I'm now a mum and that takes time of course... but soon my son Marius will be part of my trips as well, can't wait for that!

...That was back in 2010, when I joined couchsurfing. Since then, a lot has happened in my life. Marius and I are no longer living on our own, as 4 other people are now part of the family! Still, my boyfriend Yohan and his 2 kids (Gaïa and Noé), Marius, our sweet Ellie (8 months old) and I are as eager as ever to meet new people, discover other cultures, hear different languages and tell you about our beautiful city!

I'm a teacher myself so I guess I'm doing the job because I like explaining stuff and sharing what I know (I was once a tour guide for a few months in the Champagne region, where I am from and lived before settling in Lille) so I'd love to show you around the city I like so much. Otherwise I'm also fond of learning any language / songs / guitar tips (I'm a beginner!)
