About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish school/make it to Alto Paraiso, Brazil
ABOUT ME
I am easygoing and full of good energy. I am fairly independent and usually fly solo. I do like people, it's just that I enjoy my tranquility as well. I would say I get along with most people and am a good bit quirky so laughs are never in short supply.
After going to school/working in Hawaii and New Orleans for four years off and on, I've finally settled on finishing out my B.S. in Web Development... dealing with various languages and still being able to work at home or while traveling is very enticing. I've still a year left of studies however.
I love to dance! Get me to some music and I let loose. I don't really know the steps to any certain styles of dance but I love to learn! ;-)
One thing I'd like to learn how to do would be to make my own clothes.
PHILOSOPHY
In the end it is not the years in your life but rather the life in your years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love giving people a place to stay and learning from/getting to know anyone from different walks of life. I haven't been in living situations where I have a couch to offer since the New Orleans days but I thoroughly enjoyed hosting when it happened.
I plan to backpack Latin America come August as I'm still young and may not have a lot of genuine chances left.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted three times and have had enjoyed it every time. I have yet to surf a couch myself though.
Aside from journeying through Latin America-- Russia, India, Gabon, Australia, and Eastern Europe are all very high on my list of to-gos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Danced to techno nearly naked on the roof of a two story boat in the Amazon while waving a machete. I recommend it.

The Oregon state flag is the only state flag with a front design and a back design. The front bears the state seal and the back bears the state animal, the beaver.
New Orleans was once saved from invasion by the British in the War of 1812, due to pardon between a pirate (Jean Lafitte) and, then US army general, Andrew Jackson.
Many roads in New Orleans are divided by stretches of grass known as Neutral Grounds. These stretches once segregated the city between French, American, and slave sectors.
