ABOUT ME

I love to play, create, love, laugh, dance, think, run and find, but I realize life is like the seasons so sometimes I also doubt, sit, think, and try to make sense of love and life.

I feel strongly about injustice, and I believe in art, humor, activism, celebration, sharing, taboo-breaking, loving, body work, collective action and soul searching as an antidote!

For the past years I have been rewriting my life's script, to include more body work, more soul searching, more connecting to people, more freedom-searching, more creating, more celebrating, lots of traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2007 a friend and I took a 3-week trip through the US. We found our hosts through (friends of) friends and had the most wonderful time! The great thing about traveling this way is that you immediately get to the heart of the social life of a city or neighborhood and even get to participate in it.

Interests

Body work (as an antidote to all this dumbing computer work!), massage, art (since i read julia cameron's 'the artist way', i realize that life-affirming and hope-giving creativity is at the heart of everything i do), dance and festive events (celebration has revolutionary potential ;-), documentary film making, travel (teaches me time and again how life is supposed to be: ever-changing, rich and inspiring), people and friends (my fuel!), music (pulls me through every time, play some drums myself), long-distance running (would love to run a marathon one day), activism (life is supposed to be beautiful, but injustice can get in the way, that's why i committed most of my life so far to organizing for feminist, anti-racist, queer, ecological change), theatre (intrigued by this way of telling stories and touching hearts), books (a world of inspiration), sexuality (we all need to reclaim sex as it is fundamental to healthy living), and much more!
