I live in Oakland, CA and I teach English to adults in community college.

I am happiest having long conversations over tea or coffee, preparing and eating new foods, and taking quiet hikes in the redwoods. I appreciate beautiful things that are made by hand - especially illustrations, graphic novels, textiles, and ceramics - and I have a small collection of children's books from places that I have traveled.
