ABOUT ME

We are married; Barak is in the Marine Corps, and I am a stained-glass artist/baker. We have a deer-chihuahua (Senor Suave), and an American Short-hair cat (Slagathor); both are friendly, but a little shy around strange places. Jenski is the newest addition to the family; he is an 85lb Mastador and a friend to all.

Interests

Barak really enjoys Science Fiction like Dune and Revelation Space, and Fantasy like Lord of the Rings and The Wheel of Time. He likes to puzzle about physics and astronomy, and finds learning fascinating. He often finds himself outdoors enjoying his surroundings.
I have an eclectic taste of the American Classics (Catcher in the Rye, American Psycho) and a guilty pleasure for Young Adult novels (John Green novels, The Perks of Being a Wallflower). I love the outdoors, but a leisurely hike or kayak trip is about all my coordination will allow.
We both really enjoy a large variety of music, ranging from the recent decade to the past couple centuries, and remixes thereof.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

April has mastered the Art of the Perfect Chocolate Mousse (she has great Chi). From my backpacking, I have seen some wonderful sunrises by way of a few mountain tops, and I very much wish to get back to Germany.
