CURRENT MISSION To see the world! ABOUT ME I am a High School English and Drama teacher, currently teaching and living in Abu Dhabi. I've been living and working in Abu Dhabi going on 9 years. Apparently I like being here! I'm pretty easy going and enjoy good company. I love the quiz nights and meetings with fellow CSers. I'm up for hanging out if time permits, but I've been finding my time is scarce with work, boyfriend, and friends. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have joined because a couch surfing friend told me about this community. It seems like a great way to both travel and meet people. I have met some great new friends. I try to host when I can, but it seems tricky when I'm always so busy. I try to make the CS meetings or events once in awhile! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have had great experiences so far, the majority being in Quebec where I met a great friend that I stay in touch with. I'm glad that I've met some great open minded people within this group. CS opened a new world to me; I look forward to meeting more interesting people who also love to travel.

I love to read, travel, play sports, martial arts, go to art galleries, listen to music, dance, hang out with friends at a local pub, scuba dive, beach, go on road trips, watch movies, sing karaoke (even if I'm not that great :P), ... I'm pretty much up for anything.

My taste in movies usually revolve around comedies, dramas,romance and those based on the novel/true story...I sometimes watch scary movies, but I tend to scream/jump...and/or have bad dreams!lol
I love a variety of types of music. Mostly into indie, folksy, pop, rock, alternative, some dance, and some country. A few faves are Sigor Ros, Paper Kites, The Weekend, Miguel, Bon Jovi, Kings of Leon, Pink, Joel Plasket, City and Colour, Ryan Adams, and so many more.
I love to read. I enjoy both fiction and non-fiction...and I tend to find an author and read everything! Lately I've been reading a lot of young adult fiction...A few faves are Little Women, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Evelina, The Alchemist, The Book of Negroes, Three Cups of Tea and anything by Paulo Coelho!

I'm often very busy, so if I do have time I might be able to hang out at the local watering hole here and there. However, I'm more often than not going to the gym or grading assignments. I will not host guests that do not have any references, or a complete verified profile, or are looking to date (plus I have a boyfriend!).
