One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking through Europe in August 2009 was unforgettable. Also staying in a cabin Costa Rica, saving endangered sea turtles!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been told I'm the queen of random knowledge.
Fun fact: The "Mad Hatter" is a historical reality. Mercury was used in hat-making in the 19th century, prolonged exposure caused the maker to twitch and convulse, appearing "mad".
another Fun Fact: The famous lynching-era song "Strange Fruit" (performed by Billie Holiday) was written by a Jewish high school teacher, who then adopted Julius and Ethel Rosenberg's children after they were put to death by electric chair.
