CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is, to finish my academic studies in october (2012) and then be able to fully concentrate on photography, my true passion! A new era!

ABOUT ME

My name is Marcus Schäfer, I am 24 years old and I live, work and study in Munich, Germany. At the moment I am about to finish my academic studies at the Academy of Fashion and Design (AMD) in Munich.

Besides studying fashion journalism and media communication at the AMD, I work as a fashion photographer, which is what I wanna keep on doing for a living in the future. About two years ago I founded a small business called "art pioneers" with a good friend of mine, who works as a filmmaker. So "art pioneers" is a pool of two freelance artists operating in the fields of photography and videography. www.artpioneers.de and serves as a mutual basis for showing our work.

I am an outgoing, extrovorted and enjoyable person who loves getting to know new people and thereby enlargen my horizon. I love sports, travelling and obviously photography ;))

I don't smoke, I don't have a girlfriend and I am generally very uncomplicated and easy going :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couch surfing four years ago during a one year stay in australia. I used to live with a guy in Surfers Paradise and various other spots oz. At that particular time I realized what couch surfing is all about. It is the best way to travel and get to know other people, absolutly terrific.
