ABOUT ME

Who am I? I think I learn something new everyday. What I've learned so far is that respect, patience and trust are some of the best qualities that a person can have and share with others. Peaceful living and to be sincerely grateful for everything in life is also important. I like to be around people that share a love for life and appreciate the beauty of the world and the people in it. We only get one life and it's our first time for everyday we get, there is no rewind so we can only go forward and make each day better than the last.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and my favorites change with my mood or the event or atmosphere I happen to be in. While traveling in Germany, Dave and I enjoyed going to a few concerts for some of our favorite German bands! Dave is also the musically gifted one in our house and naturally, I am his biggest fan! ;)

The same goes for movies and books. In my leisure time, I love a true story or anything that will make me laugh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a caving adventure under Grotto Mountain (near Canmore/Banff, Alberta, Canada). To squeeze myself through rock tunnels and explore an underground world was fascinating for me. A genuine and unexpected rush.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm... I believe everyone is both a student and a teacher. Life experiences make us who we are and I think it's always helpful to have a friend and to be a friend. To share my interests and learn from others is exactly what I'd like to contribute to the CouchSurfing experience.
