Overview
About Me
Originally from Egypt, but moved to Amsterdam for some good time now.
I am not really into parties, I prefer going for long spontaneous walks, exploring the architecture of the city/town and speaking about culture, arts (specially movies and cinematography), and what makes us better human beings.
I can share with you tips about Brutal Architecture, stories from Egypt/Netherlands, and how to participate in a promising revolution that will eventually fail miserably.
Interests
Movies, old school music, cinematography, outdoor activities, and human relationships that aren't disposable in general
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy movies that could capture fractions of people's lives.
What comes up to my head:
- Any Coen brothers movie
- Wit
- The Bothersome man
- The Sunset Limited
- Taste of Cherry
- American Beauty
- Heat
- Altered states
- Comet
What I Can Share with Hosts
**Important tips for hosting**
- DON’T send a request if you’re a couple; we had really bad experiences hosting couples, so requests for couples will be declined right away, sorry.
- It's always fun to host you, but I expect you to be tidy and to clean after yourself.
- My place is a bit far from the center of Amsterdam (25 mins by tram)
- you're welcome to use my bike as long as you don't get it stolen (it's currently broken anyway, and I am just too lazy to fix it or to get a new one)
