Hello! My name is Yuma.

I’m student in college now and I’m from Japan .
From August 13th to October 29th, I’m taking on the challenge of traveling around the world!
Through my experience in my school’s musical club, I learned the importance of connecting with people. On this journey, I hope to enjoy many conversations with people from all over the world.
Also, through my hobby of photography, I want to capture and preserve the many expressions of the world.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Through my round-the-world journey, I want to learn deeply about different countries and understand how they differ from Japan.
I believe the best way to do that is by talking with local people and experiencing their daily lives firsthand.
I hope to make friends through Couchsurfing, have fun conversations, and share meaningful moments together! 🌏🤝✨

I love taking photos! 📸
Even on my round-the-world trip, I carry both a DSLR camera (EOS RP) and a film camera.
I can’t imagine seeing the world’s beautiful landscapes without a camera! 🌏✨
I also make sure to take photos with the people I meet through Couchsurfing, so I never forget those memories.

I’m a huge manga fan—I have over 1,000 volumes at home!
Some of my favorites are One Piece, Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba), Naruto, and Bleach.

I can talk about Japanese culture, as well as places like Tokyo, Kyoto, and Japanese hot springs! ♨️

I live in Saitama, which is right next to Tokyo. Since I go to university in Tokyo, I’m there almost every day.
Three years ago, I traveled to Kyoto by myself and visited many famous spots, so I can also share a lot about that city.

I also used to work part-time at a hot spring, so I’d love to share some interesting things about Japanese onsen culture too! 🇯🇵✨
