Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi! I’m Arantxa, and I’m about to start my very first solo travel adventure. I’m super excited (and a little nervous) about it, but mostly I can’t wait to meet new people, learn about different cultures, and see how locals live day to day.

I love food, music, and exploring hidden corners of every city. Sharing stories, laughs, and good vibes is what makes traveling meaningful to me. I’m friendly, respectful, and always curious to learn something new.

I believe Couchsurfing is the best way to experience a place through the eyes of locals, not just as a tourist. I want to connect with people who love to share their city, traditions, and daily life. For me, it’s about creating genuine connections and exchanging experiences.

At the same time, I’d love to share my own culture, my language, and my perspective as someone discovering the world for the first time on her own.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share my culture, my language (Spanish), and maybe some recipes from home!
Learn: Anything! Especially about local traditions, hidden spots, and how people truly live in each place.
Share: Conversations, music, food, and hopefully friendships that last beyond the trip.
