Overview
About Me
My name is Arancha, I am 25 and from Spain, Valencia. I arrived to Düsseldorf one month ago because I started working in a well-known companie calls GROHE as an interior designer. I am a quite person who never get angry or in problems. I always try to talk everything in a polite way. I am respectful and tolerant with every single thought. I really love knowing others minds and cultures. I enjoy also drawing, listening to music, and eating. I can go for a beer sometimes as well, which I prefer more than wine, but it depends on my mood! At home I am tidy and clean. I really enjoy going to ferias, museums, festivals and discover new cities, it's architecture, parks and traditional places. I really enjoy sharing with other but I am very comfortable with me alone as well. I have been living alone since I am 20, in Spain and in England.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I was a child I wanted to travel to learn different cultures: knowledge is power! And is worth more than money. I have never had the economic opportunity to travel as much as I would like but this year I started working in Germany and my dreams are being fulfilled. I started the year in England and now in Düsseldorf I'm meeting people from everywhere, it's amazing. I think couchsourfing is a great opportunity for this goal and it's never too late to start. Do you want to meet me ? I'm looking forward to it!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all king of music: rock, indie, electronic, classic, jazz, blues, reggae... I am a very open mind and I enjoy all kind of rythems. I love French cinema, Cristopher Nolan and Wes Anderson, also Italian movies as Sorrentino ones alternative from festivals as Sundance and any other audiovisual art. My favourite book is called "The elegance of the hedgehog" and any others about society, architecture and design.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last week I met a man from Iran and he invited me to his home to celebrat Persian new's year. It was he and his friends playing traditional music which instruments I have never seen before. I could discover their traditions as having seven elements starting with S- on the table because the S sound is very important for them. After a while he invited me to stay for dinner and also for sleeping. I learnt more than two years of history and culture at school! I also have two families the Spanish one and an English one! When I was 16 I went as an exchange student and since then they have become my family, I always go to see them and they come all together to my parents on summer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing knowledge of creative issues as painting, music, architecture and design. My father is a cook and a have innate skills for that. Spanish omelette and any kind of rice are my bests!
