I'm always up for adventures, intentional or spontaneous. I like to put care and thought into executing plans. I'm in my element in nature (trees, mts, snow, rivers) but I enjoy cities, too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet up with travelers to chat or give local info, and host them when I'm able. My first couch surfer was the one who introduced me to the CS network.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed using this website in Kyoto, Japan. Wonderful! (lots of informal surfing / hosting prior to using the CS resources)

兴趣

I like building my skills, sharing them with others: ultimate frisbee, climbing (rock, tree, ice), hiking, off-road unicycling, whitewater kayaking, snowboarding, playing with chocolate, kitchen chemistry, music, etc.

I got myself a gig teaching sciences for a traveling boarding school that specializes in whitewater kayaking: met impressive people from Canada to Costa Rica, inspired my students with the experiential education, boated my brains out, and swooned at a cloud forest tree holding over 40 species of orchid...more stories when we meet.
