About Me
I'm a college lecturer, transformative mediator, former high school teacher, podcaster (x2), TikToker (@gemcitydudeistpriest) and traveler. I love people, and I love connecting with others. I serve as chair of the Dayton Sister City Committee Sarajevo subcommittee and plan to travel there this year again soon (2022). The DSCC (daytonsistercitycommittee.org) is a member of Sister Cities International. SCI was created by President Eisenhower in 1956 in conjunction with a conference on citizen diplomacy. Its mission is to "Promote peace through mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation - one individual, one community at a time." I have adopted this as a personal mission as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love connecting with people, and I like to save money while doing it. Here is a travel blog my wife and I created: http://archandamandastravelblog.blogspot.com/

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently bluegrass & jazz... but there are only two types of music - good music and the other kind.
The Bog Lebowski (I’m an ordained Dudeist priest and it’s kind of my whole personality) and anything playing at my local theater (the Neon)
God Bless You Mr. Rosewater; The Idiot (they're the same thing really... so it goes).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to Bosnia-Herzegovina and helped establish an international exchange program (learn more at http://drssinteratpinternship.blogspot.com/)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach, I'm also a student, and I love sharing (I currently classify myself as a democratic socialist politically...)
I guess I'll use this place to share my link tree of things I do: https://linktr.ee/Gemcitydudeistpriest

Knowledge, connections, and whatever we're both willing to share with each other I suppose.
