Hey! I'm an artist traveling with my wife, Zyaira. I currently work in a musuem and spend my spare time drawing and experimenting with new ways to make music. I like synthesizers the most and love playing with weird noises. My wife, is a film maker and musician as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I are always looking for new adventures and friends to share those adventures with. I hate touristy spots and would much rather see the spots that locals like to go, even just the spots with a pretty view.

Interests

I love collecting all types of audio! From tape cassettes to vinyl, nothing beats having a physical piece of music. I enjoy seeing live performances of all sorts. Any chance to see local art and galleries sounds like a good time in my book.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a huge music person, I'm a firm believer that every genre of music has at least 5 artists worth listening to, I just haven't heard them yet! However, if we're throwing names, I'd definitely artists like: William Onyeabor, Funkadelic, The Beatles (of course haha), Earl Sweatshirt, Bootsy Collins, Manu Chao, Hector Lavoe, and NOFX.

My wife reads too many non fiction books and is taking suggestions for good fiction novels. What's your favorite thing to read while traveling?
