About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be someone special in the lives of those we love.
ABOUT ME
We're retired and intend to be homeless travelers for years to come.
PHILOSOPHY
We're the lucky lotto winners of life. Carpe Deim!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We hosted some, though not as much as we'd hoped. Now that we're traveling we will look for friendly faces as we approach new places.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've surfed and hosted and had wonderful experiences with each. "For all it's sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a wonderful world. Many persons strive for high ideals and everywhere life is filled with heroism." The words of Desiderata still ring true!
Interests
We love our children, grandchildren, hiking in the mountains, riding bicycles, and making music.

Music, Movies, and Books
Bluegrass guitar music; David Grier, Tony Rice, Dan Crary, Steve Kauffman, Doc Watson, Daryll Scott, Jerry Garcia... Non-fiction books; Undaunted Courage, AWOL on the Appalachian Trail, Rounding the Horn, The Pacific Crest Trail Handbook, 100 Most Influential Persons of History, Sitting Bull (By Stanley Vestal)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The birth of our children tops the list. Hiking in Patagonia and taking the Austral Cruise from Punta Arenas to Cape Horn was a hoot. Hiking in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge was also fantastic.
Teach, Learn, Share
Amature guitar player - can both teach and learn!
