ABOUT ME

Travelling opened my mind. Not just travelling in terms of moving from one place to another, but seeing diferent types of cultures, getting in touch with locals, learning their language and observing their customs.
Travelling for me means more than looking at churches, mosques, museums or landscapes. It's a way of trying to understand other ways of living without judging them.

After a year's stay in Brazil after high school and a semester in Ankara during my studies I am now volunteering for a year in Ploiesti, Romania, working with former street children.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I couldn't host CS people yet I spent a lot of times with "international" friends who came from every place all over the world. Also I met some very special people wherever I went.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Brazil a woman asked me if I was from Europe. As I responded "yes" she grabbed my arm, looked at me all surprised and said: strange.. I always thought you Europeans were "cold" people but you're temperature is so normal..
