Hi! I'm Arella from western Canada, I just graduated university and now I'm chasing down adventure. I'm planning an impromptu cycling trip through Italy into Croatia and then flying to Germany; looking forward to meeting some wonderful people along the way. I don't have any references yet as this is my MAIDEN VOYAGE with Couchsurfing! I can't wait!!

(*Note: I am currently making use of my brother's sweet sweet hospitality so I unfortunately can't host in London, but when I'm back in Vancouver, my couch is your couch!)

Ooph, too many to name! Music is the food for my soul (can I get any cheesier??); I love blues, electronica, reggae, jazz, funk, hip-hip, psychadelic rock (pretty much any kind of rock...even metal sometimes!), indie, folk....basically I love any and all music besides country and "Top 40 Hits".

For movies, I love crime films (my favourite is Goodfellas!) and movies that make you think. Some favourites are films by Tarantino, Cohen Brothers, Francis Ford Coppola, classic Disney (who doesn't though?), Miyazaki, Hitchcock, etc. etc.

Books, I love them all! I especially love books that transport me into another culture/time period/way of life (Kite Runner, Book of Negroes...) or turn my comfy thoughts on their head (The Trial, The Stranger...). The last few years my nose has mostly been stuffed into textbooks so I'm really cherishing this time to read whatever my little heart desires!
