I'm an honest Brazilian gay guy who loves to travel. I am a sort of paradox because I can be both shy and outgoing at the same time. I have a wide range of interests and one of the things that I like the most about myself is that I can have fun pretty much in any situation: a concert, reading a book, a bar, a nightclub, exploring a new city, hikking, beach...
I always try to add to the lives of others as I love this quotation: "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what give".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the exerience of diving into new cultures and to discover the world. And since each person has a world inside themselves, getting to know a new person is the same as getting to know a new world. So couchsurfing is not only helpful for those who travel on a budget, but it offers also the possibility to get to know amazing people, their culture, their thoughts, their world! And since I tend to travel by myself, it's always nice to know someone on the road :)
I am interested in: hikking, nature, cities, food, concerts, partying, reading, movies, politics, beaches, urban tourism, museums, night clubs, pubs, theater, not being conventional.
Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Some of my favorite are Bach, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Madeleine Peyroux, Marisa Monte, Rita Lee, Tom Jobim...
MOVIES: The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain, Spirited Away
BOOKS: The Three Musketeers, Matilda :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunrise while climbing up the stairs to Machu Picchu. The pictures, the stories are far behind the truly beauty of this experience. Everyone should do it on foot. The beauty I had the honour and pleasure to witness is beyond any ablity I have to discribe it.
Teach, Learn, Share
One's life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation and compassion.
