Radio and tv freelancer from Finland

I look at the world through my own kind of humorous glasses and sometimes I just smile by myself when observing other people's actions 'cos there's some alternative storyline going in my head. I also do this to my own actions. I think this is because I've watched too much the Simpsons in my early days. It's great that I've been able to use this feature in my jobs as well.

On the other hand I'm very serious and like to know what's happening in the daily news. Though I try to cut down on the manic staring of news apps when I've got nothing special to do.

As a Finn I guess I'm fairly talkative because usually we are considered as really quiet and shy people here in Scandinavia. Sometimes I'm the one who's making a conversation all the time but then also at times I just like to be the quiet member if there's a big group talking and I just enjoy the atmosphere. So I'm kind of both talkative and quiet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been here for few years because I've been interested about couch surfing. Haven't done any yet and my current accommodation doesn't quite allow me to invite guests as I am staying as a guest myself in a house at this moment. (this in the beginning of 2016) I was planning a longer journey around the world but I guess it's going to be shorter. Now going to Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru in the spring. And then back to Finland to see what's next if there are some projects coming up.

Sure thing the tourist sights and attractions are nice but at this moment I'm more interested of the everyday life in each country I'm going to. So just hanging around casually, talking and getting to know new people is really cool.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love U2 and Radiohead, Johnny Cash and like all sorts of music from classic music to R&B. Really like drama movies which make me cry. Also fan of comedy such as the the Office for example (both British and US). Should read more indeed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Annapurna circuit trek was a thing to remember for long time. Three weeks walking from the beginning to the end. Really beautiful mountain scenery.
