About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find those other worlds I've been dreaming of. To travel through time. To finish my novels and get published. Oh, it was supposed to be just one?

ABOUT ME

Are you sure you want to know?

I'm a 21-year old writer/artist. I studied Ethnology, Cultural/Social Anthropology and Art History for a year, but then I quit that to dedicate myself to writing. Crazy? Perhaps. I haven't regretted it yet.
Curently, however, I'm studying Visual Communication and Change.
Let's see.. I write, obviously. It's a very important thing to me, and something I can discuss till the end of times. I don't drink or smoke, and am generally a rather introverted person, interested in the world and people but not always feeling like a part of it.
I have a thing with not really feeling quite at home anywhere, but I don't see that as a necessarily bad thing! I adore languages (although don't speak many), art, music, writing, books... I'm not much of a party person. I'd agree getting a coffee at some point, but I'd prefer to be taken to a park or a bookstore rather than a club.

I've tried ice-skating, fencing, archery, horse riding, playing the violin, ballroom dances, aerobic, choir singing, juggling... I was a versatile kid. Sadly, moving and finances and some other things put an end to most of these things. I still enjoy them, though, especially archery c: I'd also love to learn fire dancing, someone other than Youtube teaching me that would be fantastic.

Oh, and I'm a night owl. And I own a bearded dragon as a pet, though she had to stay with my mother when I moved -- the move was a part of my one-year experience as an EVS volunteer, while on it. That said, I'm a volunteer, having participated in many international projects with and without kids and young people with different sorts of disabilities, and I'm a LGBTQ* activist when I have the chance.

~Kind of important: when I search for places to stay at, I look at a lot of profiles, read through all the info provided, and think before sending the requests. But, still, I tend to send out more than one request at a time, meaning that it might happen that I have to end up choosing between people if more than one person says yes. If that happens, I'm sorry, I don't mean anything bad with it. Also, if you for some reason can't host me/I can't stay with you, and you think I'm an interesting enough person, I'm up for meeting for coffee or something on the days I'm in your city, too, 'cause I don't tend to message people whom I don't find interesting. This got longer than expected.~

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't participated much yet, sadly. I'd love to travel more, and I'd like to meet more people from all around the world. Right now, I can't offer a couch or a place to stay (my boyfriend and I are discussing it), but if anyone finds themselves in Växjö, I could show you around. Also, I'll definitely write reviews for people who host me (which is also yet to happen).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My stay in Sweden at a friend's house must be on this list, but that was mostly amazing thanks to the said friend. Other than that, I finished a few stories and novels and got a story published - it was a pretty amazing step towards my goals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and Croatian, review/discuss writing and art, probably even teach those too.
I'd love to learn a lot of new things, especially if they're somehow unusual or odd to most people.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Hungary, Poland, Sweden
