I was raised, with my sisters in Perth, Western Australia by a Canadian mother and a European father.

I love to explore and create, I also like to meditate!

I love vegan food and learning about Buddhism. I'm creative, easy going, considerate, tidy, friendly and I believe that we get what we give!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love Couchsurfing because of the people and experiences it leads you to! Couchsurfing exposes you to a world of opportunities and people that you never knew existed! It lets you travel less like a foreigner and more like a local! I love it!

Interests

My current favourite pass times include making silver jewellery, photography, webdesign, vegan food, sewing, calligraphy and meditation. I recently graduated from a degree in economics so I have decided to just chill for now and poor most of my energy into my humble little jewellery label @silverandsoul925. I love being creative so much more than math.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I completed 40 days of Vipassana meditation. Vipassana meditation is where you live at a buddhist monastery and meditate for 8-12 hrs per day. While staying at the monastery there is no reading, no writing, no eye contact, no talking and no eating after 12pm. Over the last 3 Year’s I have completed almost 90 days of Vipassana. It is the most challenging thing I have ever done but also by far, the most rewarding. It’s not particularly exciting or adventures but extremely educational. In that 90 days I learnt more about myself, my mind, happiness and life than I had in the previous 24 years.
