Hi! I'm Ariana. I have spent the majority of my life so far in Victoria, BC, Canada, and while I absolutely love this little piece of the world, it's time for me to see more of it (I miss the sun!). I'm super interested in all things spiritual, and love to learn more about the beautiful little secrets of the world. Living with mindfulness, love, appreciation and passion is very important to me, and I feel that travel fits into that lifestyle perfectly. I love nature and animals, and while I am unsure right now of specifically what I want to do as a career, it will most likely involve one or both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There seems to be an idea that one needs lots of money to travel, however with more sharing sites and opportunities appearing such as WWOOFING, Air BnB, and Couchsurfing, that idea is slowly being overtaken by one of abundance and sharing. I'm on Couchsurfing to be able to travel the world for less money, have an opportunity to be closer to the culture and the lives of locals, meet more amazing people, and have incredible adventures, and am incredibly excited to be able to host people as well, as soon as I can.

I can help hosts learn English, or teach a little bit of Spanish. I love art and am always down to have creative time. I can also help with gardening and plant care, and taking care of and loving your pets! I'm also open to some babysitting. And of course I can help with all household chores- I worked for a year in housekeeping/laundry, so have extra knowledge in that area! I have some pretty interesting stories if you're interested, and I would love to hear yours! I always love to talk about life and philosophy, and am very interested in learning about other cultures, religions, and ways of life.
