to build a home and business for myself here in belize with my husband and somehow squeeze traveling into the mix.

ABOUT ME

i was born in the woods of lopez island in a san francisco metro bus that my parents called home. i grew up in this small close island community in the very northwest corner of the united states. about 2 hours north of seattle.

i came to belize more than 4 years ago while traveling and after the first week in this country i said i would stay and spend my life here, a matter of weeks later i had a husband a puppy and an apartment, i'm still here kickin it in the sunshine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

just moved into a new house so i have some room now but need to buy a couch sorry. i do have knowledge of the area and can give you advice on some nice spots to go or ways to get around. can come and hang out with me, my husband and our friends, set off a bbq, head to the river, whatever the mission is.

Interessi

currently i am interested in everything gardening and farming. have a piece of land here me and my husband have cleared and are planting on and improving. also love to cook and believe most good parties are based on making food together and well of course drinking along the way..

Music- dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, soca, punta...
Movies - City of God, Frida, The Royal Tenenbaums, Y Tu Mama Tambien..
Books - mostly non-fiction accounts of people lives, experiences, situations... and also cook books, gardening, building.. any how to stuff. and i have to admit i am hooked on the ice and fire series right now.
