Upon graduation I am traveling for a year to wherever my heart and head take me!
Since beginning college I have dreamt of becoming a fashion journalist. I have held internships with prestigious fashion publications, attended New York Fashion Week, studied the industry in and out-which is why I find it so ironic that I am soon to embark on a year-long journey with less than a week's work of clothing strapped to my back. Although I am scared, anxious, nervous etc. etc. to set off on my own with absolutely no set schedule or plans as to where I am headed, I have never felt so excited and so right in my decision! Looking forward to meeting some amazing, interesting and inspiring people through couchsurfing, and am so thankful for the generosity of everyone willing to take travelers like myself i :)
The opportunity to live how I want to live, without boundaries, without monotony, without having to wish I could be somewhere else; that is the opportunity I have been given for now, and I plan on milking every last drop of it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything by Vonnegut, Norwegian Wood, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, James Patterson books (I'm a sucker for a good murder mystery), Harry Potter.
I love all types of music except heavy metal, particularly EDM, good hip-hop and modern rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been fortunate enough to have had an amazing dad that understands the importance of travel. He has supported me in studying abroad in Accra, Ghana and Paris, France during college. The two locations were so incredibly different yet both taught me the same thing; it is through adaptation to a new place that I am able to surprise myself with my own capabilities. Going somewhere I know nothing about terrifies me; I have always been a bit shy and reliant on others, but through studying abroad and the traveling that followed I have discovered I am capable of far more than I thought! And that discovery is beyond rad.
