About Me

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Lanaudière until I moved to Montreal to learn pastry.. That's also where I had my first CC experiences. I moved back to the countryside in 2015 and built my own tinyhouse all by myself. I really love the outdoors and building things. With my boyfriend Joey we are attempting to a more sustainable life far from the city and its stressful life.

PHILOSOPHY

No need to be afraid, share the more you can and learn even more...

"If you are not afraid of dying, there's nothing you can not achieve" - Lao Tseu

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I've never been hosted yet, I basically host people at my place.

I'm pretty much up for everything, feel free to ask me if you're in the region and want to go hiking or if you need a place to set up your tent.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My second summer hosting people was one of the most memorable summer of my life so far. I've hosted amazing people that made my regular normal life and activites so much greater. I really want to thank CS for that!

One word to remember : Open-mindedness.

Interests

I really like going on a hike, in the forest, or just chilling outside by the lake at my mom's place.

I like to go to concerts and to some festivals(I'm mostly into metal music, but I have an interest in anything that catches my ears! I went to an amazing music fest last fall in California. Listening to music and camping in the woods = just really awesome!), I reeeeeeeeeaaally love food (and surprisingly, not that much pastry and chocolate), I like biking and of course, travelling.

I have a big interest in sustainable living and permaculture. This is my main ambition right now, being able to apply these principles in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I consider myself as being quite open-minded. I like interesting stories, and I'm open to recommendations.

I really love Quentin Tarantino, Darren Aronofsky and Wes Anderson's universes.

My favorite author is Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen northern lights in Sweden, when I went to Abisko and the majestuous fjords in Norway. So far, Norway is the most beautiful country I've seen.

I went to the Stella Natura festival in California (September 2013). It was snowing, and all the tents were flooded. But it was still one of the best experience I've had!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Estonia, Finland, France, Norway, Sweden, United States
