I'm a happy Mexican that is trying to make her dreams come true. I was working in Mexican government for a couple of years, and then, I decided to leave my traditional and comfortable life. I moved to Bangkok, applied for a master degree and got it!
I'm now finishing my master in Environmental Management and Technology. I'm doing my thesis on how informal education can be a tool to teach children about reducing risks in case of an earthquake. I'm an environmentalist 🌲🌳🌴🌻!
I have published two chapters of two different books, one in English about sustainable cities in Thailand, and one in Spanish about governance and environment in Mexico. I also write articles for different newspapers in Mexico (Mexican Times, La Silla Rota and Excelsior).
While doing my master, I worked with different communities along the Mekong River and learned about how are they adapting to climate change. I wrote one article about it for the Mekong Commons and one for Asia Development Dialogue.
I enjoy traveling! I traveled around Southeast Asia and met so many interesting and amazing people! I would be happy to introduce you to all of them!
While finishing my thesis, I'm traveling around Europe! Visiting some old friends and trying to meet new ones!
I enjoy cooking Mexican food and I would be happy to share my one and only salsa recipe!

My favorite band is Muse! I've always wanted to see them live in Glastonbury (my dream)! I also love The Strokes, The Flamming Lips, Modest Mouse and The Killers! I also love oldies like Queen and The Beatles! I enjoy to sing their songs out loud!
I have many friends that are filmmakers and photographers so I enjoy art movies a lot. And to be honest, I also love movies about super heroes and chick flicks! ❤️

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Once during a field trip in Thailand, I almost got killed by a wild elephant! The fun part was that before being scared, I was entirely happy! I was in front of a magnificent creature that was ready to run against us! I was thinking: "Best death ever: Arianna got killed by a wild elephant in Thailand".
Gladly some guys from the army saved us, but I love to tell the story!
