once i "settle down" there is nothing i would rather do than host travellers from all around the world! i grew up in a large family that emphasized extending kindness to strangers. i took this with me in my travels across southern africa, the bahamas, europe and my homes in the US. i love people! i am also very spontaneous and therefore a last minute traveler.
