About Me

I'm new to the couch surfing scene and looking to give it a try.

.

I have a beautiful little dog that I take everywhere with me. I love to camp, hike, go to concerts, watch movies, and just find fun and adventure wherever I can.

I just moved into my own place, it's pretty small but I have a couch to sleep on for those looking for a place to lay their heads until they get back on the road to continue their adventures.

Some of the places I've been to include:

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, books, and movies. I have a lot that I like and that I don't like.

What I tend to like the most is something that took a talented artist to create and that they artist was passionate about working on.

Anyone can make a movie, book, or song, but it takes talent and passion to make something great and memorable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

San Francisco is an amazing city, it's got a blend of people and cultures that can't be found anywhere else. Being there any time of day, during any part of the year is an experience. Every time I go there it's like going for the first time because I rarely see the same place while I'm there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really know what I should put in this section.

Teach:
I know how to cook, I know how to fix things, and I know how to use tools, I'm willing to share that information with people. When I worked in the restaurant industry I used to teach people how to cook regularly and it's not really that hard.

Learn:
I've learned a great many things and I'm always eager to learn more. I have a guitar and harmonica that are collecting dust that I would love to learn how to play music on them, even if it's just a single song.

Share:
I can share my knowledge of Modesto and the surrounding areas, I can also share whatever I have to eat in my fridge. I am also willing to share my thoughts and opinions on anything you need advice on. I can also share my ears and heart if you want someone to just listen to you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be very useful for any host. I'm not shy to do work, cleaning, cooking, or repairs are no problem for me.

If you need help cleaning up around your home I'm more than happy to help tiddy up.

I used to work in the restaurant industry for several years. I'm no gourmet chef, but I can follow a recipe and make decent food when I put on an apron.

My other line of work after cooking was home remodeling and repairs, I wasn't a contractor, but I was a decent handyman and can get a lot done as long as I have the parts and tools I need on hand.

I love caring for animals so I can also be helpful in taking care of any pets. I grew up taking care of wounded and stray animals.
