About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a star linguist, of course. Prepairing for a PhD programme. Prepairing my professional hichhiker life.

ABOUT ME

I WANT NEW EXPERIANCES. I'm interested in everything, expecially in culture, movies and languages. I'm studying eastern linguistics, my major is Turkish and Arabic. I love meeting new people, new ideologies. I've had the chance to travel to a few places, like Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA. All of them were my greatest experiances ever. I hope to be able to travel and meet new people, as much as I can. Hope to meet You!

PHILOSOPHY

I respect all religions and every religious people, but I dont believe in a higher power, so this is the basic of all my philosophy. I dont believe that there is life after death, so I think we need to fulfill our lifes with experiances and knowledge, because if we have the chance to get old, that will be the only thing we have.I try to have good relationship with the people around me and see as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I havent tryed this great-sounding thing, I want to see how it works in real life. Then I can trust in it and can host as i have time and continue travelling around the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Quity a lot. First I was in Austria, then in Turkey and last time, we were in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Hosts were always amazing. I also hosted some people in York. They were from Sri Lanka, which was also an unforgetable experience.

Interests

Deeply interested in things that no one is interested in. Such as Turkology(studies of turkic peoples, languages and cultures), arabic and muslim studies. But I'm interested in basically everithing thats new for me. For example, did you know that if you are in Malaysia, you shouldent point or even recognise a rainbow, because in that culture rainbow is the manifestation of bad, so everyone must ignore it. Isnt it great? I want to know theese things.I LOVE LINGUISTICS.

Music, Movies, and Books

Generally people dont like movies and books that i like. For example do you like Lady in the water, Pi, Dark City or such? I dont read a lot, exept for books for my studies.I love 1984, Hichhikers guide to the galaxy....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In front of the Ayasofya mosque/church in Istanbul there was a book salesman, shouting "Istanbul guide book, english, turkish, german" all day. When I came out of the museum, he stopped shouting, stared at me, and asked, if I was a rocker. What the fuck???

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages. Learning languages is the basic of everithing. I could teach Turkish, Hebrew, English, Hungarian and Arabic. And I'd like to learn Turkic languages, or anything thats easter than I am.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some experience they might find interesting. I and my girlfriend are travellers who have been to the quarter of the world, all together. We speek quite a few languages and we both like rotten mare-milk. Do you?

Countries I’ve Visited

Azerbaijan, Canada, Egypt, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United States, Uzbekistan
