ABOUT ME

I am a person driven by a countless number of things. I love music, I play the guitar. I love sports, have practice a few for some years. I love martial arts, did aikido for many years also. I love traveling and displacing myself around the world, right now my job allows me to travel a lot which is nice. I love food, love beer and to eat and drink in good company, can cook as well!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life with the aim of being as happy as possible at any point in time. Don't see any point in working for money or being rich as I believe it only brings problems and attachments one really doesn't need. I try to balance work with fun and traveling as I go. No big plans, just letting myself go with wherever it takes me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have connected with many couch surfers. Many of my friends are dedicated couch surfers, also met a lot during my travels and in my home town. Have hosted a lot of people a few years ago and got the hang of it. Now looking to host more in the "official" way. :) Also looking to get a place to stay in my travels when I happen to need it of course!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience is not has not yet been through the official website. I have attended couchsurfing.org events though, through my friends and have couch surfed a bit all around europe through friend circles. My latest? Couchsurfing in Jakarta at a cousin's friend few months ago.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very much into music and am very eclectic. I play the guitar. Have had several bands mainly in rock/heavy styles which is what I like to play (checkout the latest at http://www.inmotionband.com/). But in terms of listening, I am a freak about everything from progressive house to jazz, R&B or HipHop. Also like to see graphic art and read historical background books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well. Been here and there, my favorite place in general probably Thailand and of course Portugal. Haven't found any place better than home.... yet. I believe my country is really amazing and with lots of great things to see and experience. I love to talk about it and get people into visiting the place. Most amazing thing I've done? Kill a dragon while sleeping.

I try to learn from everyone in general. I don't think age is a variable. As long as you have something to say I will listen. I try to share as much as I can an in appropriate way.
